Tat-Toes Custom Nails and Toes.

Hello, and today I bring you my first ever review.

I was at Sam's Club today and spotted these babies.
They were 11.98, supposedly for 3 applications. They had to have had 100 designs, and most of them weren't my style. But there were two, and I picked one out to get. It's called Nickolace. As far as I know, these are only available at Sam's Club, but they are very new (Only 5 likes on FaceBook)

Nickolace was reminiscent of Sally Hansen's Salon Effects "Laced Up" in my opinion, which is why I picked it out. I'm into that sort of thing. Anything vintage, lacy, I'm all over it.
The packaging is tacky to me, and would appeal to a girl about eight.
These, unlike Sally Hansen's Salon Effects or Inoco, are NOT real nail polish. They're a sort of sticker like thing that you cut to fit your nail and set with a blow dryer. Supposedly, when you want to change them, all you have to do is "peel them off"
That made me cringe.
Tacky residue.
Not long wearing, definitely not 4x the life of nail polish, let alone FOUR WEEKS?
Regrowth would happen in that time frame anyway. DERP?
So, onto the application process.
It says to remove polish(duh).
Put the applique thing on your nail and trim it to fit. Then you press it down while using blow dryer heat for 3 seconds (I used about 30).
It says for best results, put nail glue on the edges of your nail and seal with a top coat.
I did the latter, but had no nail glue, hence the nightmare.
10 minutes later, I scratched my leg and noticed one of them peeling off.
I figured I hadn't trimmed them down enough, and sure enough that fixed it. I'll do a follow up in a while to show you how that went, and how well they lasted..
Mind you, I only did these on four nails, my ring fingers and thumbs.
The rest of my manicure was done in Wet'n'Wild's Megalast Blackmail.
I used Sally Hansen hardener as a bade, and instadry as a top coat.
As far as value. Eh. I don't really like these, they're sort of tacky as they're pretty much stickers... For a few nails, and the rest a solid color, it'll do. But it doesn't look like a salon manicure.
Pictures, anyone?
These were taken pre-cleanup. My previous manicure was a water marble, and my cuticles are crap from the clean up -.-
Close up of the design on my ring finger. not half bad, it just took too much time.
Entire manicure.
Nasty hands...
What's inside.
Where did the name come from? o-o
Outside packaging.
